  • James Scheulen (JHO-CEPAR)
  • Gary Green (JHO-CEPAR)
  • Christian Latimer (JHU-APL)
  • John Pournour (CBRTA)

  • Michael Bruneau (UB-CUBRC)

Project Objectives:

To measure emergency medical response capabilities (MRC) for a catastrophic event at the local, regional and national level

  • Define medical response capabilities (MRC)
  • Develop a conceptual framework for MRC
  • Develop MRC instruments
  • Evaluate validity of MRC instruments

Project Summary & Planned Activities:

  • The MRC Instruments would be self-rated and performance based
  • Generic and incident specific scales
  • Quantitative and objective
  • Reliable and valid
