National Biosafety & Biocontainment Training Program Fellowships
The NBBTP, a partnership between the Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS) and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institutes of Health, is now accepting applications for two-year post-doctorate and post-baccalaureate Fellowships. This is a rare opportunity for individuals seeking work in high containment facilities to receive professional training in biosafety and biocontainment at one of the foremost biomedical research centers in the world. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Scholarship and Fellowship Program
The DHS Scholarship and Fellowship Program, supported by the Science and Technology Directorate, Office of University Programs (S&T, UP), is intended for students interested in pursuing the basic science and technology innovations that can be applied to the DHS mission. This education program is intended to ensure a diverse and highly talented science and technology community to achieve the DHS mission and objectives. Areas of study that are eligible include: physical sciences, mathematical sciences, computer and information sciences, life sciences, social sciences, psychology, and engineering.

National Research Council’s Research Associateship Programs
The National Research Council’s Research Associateship Programs provides advanced training for highly qualified postdoctoral and visiting scientists, while enhancing the research conducted in federal laboratories. This mission is accomplished by recruiting, and competitively selecting, postdoctoral and senior scientists for research awards in the laboratories of more than 30 federal sponsors.
