Student Outreach

Based on our understanding of the issues and principles of preparedness, PACER is developing meaningful and effective educational outreach and scholarship training programs designed to disseminate knowledge and cultivate future leaders in the field of emergency planning, preparedness, and response. PACER recognizes that this new generation of scientists and practitioners must have capabilities sufficient to support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s mission to develop the tools to identify and prevent terrorist attacks, and is committed to training students through internships, educational programs, and curriculum development and deployment.
